Ministries in America need look no further for a model of how to serve people than the churches in Newton. What an amazing example of putting feet to the gospel. We were so blessed. Wow!
David Christman, Mad Dogs & Englishmen

I feel that the reason we got such a positive response from 31 churches is because of the work YOU have been doing.
Edith Buller-Breer, 2007 Harvey County LifeChain.

The Missional Church Network:
Missional congregations unite for the harvest, so that it can be said on the street:

“the Church is the best thing that ever happened to this city.”

To reach that goal, we want to be united in three primary areas:
PRAYER, PEOPLE & PROJECTS.

What is a Missional Church?

Where we are today:
The missionary impulse of the Church has been focused on those being sent “to the ends of the earth,” and has overlooked the focus in our own “Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria.”  The result has produced culturally distant and irrelevant churches living in parallel universes from each other and their own “Jerusalem and Judea.”

A Missional Church:
Realizes she is a living, inter-dependent part of the missionary impulse of the Body, seeking to touch, and be in touch, with her community: engaging local culture, and taking Christ into it.

She is an agent for transformation in her sphere of influence. She seeks to release the gifts of her members for the building up of the Kingdom of God – on Earth as it is in Heaven. She doesn’t care who gets the credit, as long as the Lord gets the glory and praise!

We are firmly standing with Timothy Conner as The Missional Church Network’s leader. I encourage individuals and churches to join the MCN team investing financially and prayerfully, as we seek to build the Kingdom of Heaven in Newton… together!
Pastor Jay Lewis, First Baptist Church, Geronimo, Oklahoma

I wholeheartedly support Timothy, the call he has from God, and the unique vision and ministry of The Missional Church Network. May God use it and a uniting Church to make this community a place where many, many people find new life in Jesus!
Pastor Mark Isaac, Development Director, Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary

There’s no doubt in my mind that the Missional Church Network is the right partnership at the right time for the right reasons…
Pastor Jason Reynolds, Hillcrest Community Church, Newton , KS
