The missionary impulse of the Church has been focused on those being sent “to the ends of the earth,” and has overlooked the focus in our own “Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria.”  The result has produced culturally distant and irrelevant churches living in parallel universes from each other and their own “Jerusalem and Judea.”

A Missional Church:

Realizes she is a living, inter-dependent part of the missionary impulse of the Body, seeking to touch, and be in touch, with her community: engaging local culture, and taking Christ into it.
She is an agent for transformation in her sphere of influence. She seeks to release the gifts of her members for the building up of the Kingdom of God – on Earth as it is in Heaven. She doesn’t care who gets the credit, as long as the Lord gets the glory and praise!

"Timothy has been an incredibly valuable asset not only to Hillcrest Community Church but also to the community of Newton as a whole. His ability to find real needs in the community, network area churches and ministries to meet that need, and then offer that resource with a warm and generous heart has been invaluable in my experiences with Timothy. His vision and ability to plan to see goals accomplished is remarkable and has served our church and community very well."
  - Pastor Adam Welty, Hillcrest Community Church, Newton, KS

“I worked closely with Timothy in a group put together to better our community. Timothy was on top of what the group needed to do in order to accomplish its goals. If we needed some outside help Timothy knew who to contact. He is a great person to work with and I would highly recommend him not only from a personal standpoint from a professional standpoint a well.” -
